About Hyderabad
The fifth ruler of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty, Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah founded
the city of Hyderabad in 1586. He called it Bhagyanagar in honour of his
lady love Bhagmathi, for whom the city was built. When Bhagmathi married
Quli Qutub Shah, she was rechristened Hyder Mahal. The city too got a new
name, Hyderabad. |
 |
Hyderabad has grown enormously in the past 400 years and has now become a
commercially aggressive city, competing with the older metropolises of the
country. The city is attracting a lot of investment and other opportunities
for economic growth. It has been playing host to some major trade shows and
technology fairs in India in recent years.

Holding a high-profile conference or convention, aided with the finest in
technology in the culturally deep-rooted hyderaded is a soul- stirring
experience. One, that lingers in your memories long after the event. Be it a
weekend stay in the city’s most fashionable neighbourhood, the banjara
hills, overlooking the lake,’ or a stroll through the crowded shopping malls
at charminar, there’s enough for the conference delegate to bask in.
Amidst the glittering convention facilities in the luxury hotels, Hyderabad
offers the visitors a great choice of natural beauty- a sunset over the
hussain sagar lake, the golconda fort, or a nostalgic page out of history in
the salar jung museum. |
| Hyderabad is indeed a richly rewarding conference and convention experience
in the fine ambience that reflects a characteristic opulence of the past and
a touch of traditional hospitality. |
