The India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB), a body sponsored by the Ministry
of Tourism, Government of India with private Industry partnership, is proud to
announce its fifth “Conventions India”, - the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions
and Exhibitions Conclave on 19th – 20th December 2008 at Hyderabad International
Convention Centre, HICC & Novotel Complex, Near Hi-Tec City, Madhapur, Hyderabad
– 500081.
India’s apex body to market the country to the World as a destination for
meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE), ICPB’s membership
includes Airlines, Major Hotels, Convention Venues, leading Travel Agencies &
Tour Operators, Professional Congress & Event Organizers, Educational
Institutions and State Govts etc.
The Conclave would provide an opportunity for participants to interact with the
Bureau’s members who are specialists in the organization of meetings and
conferences and also other suppliers who would showcase their products during
the Conclave. Also with the aim of strengthening the brand positioning of
‘Incredible India’ as a MICE destination, buyers from overseas would also have
appointments with suppliers from India’s MICE companies.
The meet will provide the perfect forum for opinions, views and standpoints on
India’s Convention market. The speakers and panelists will share a wealth of
information which would facilitate in attracting an increasing number of
conferences to India and organizing the same efficiently.
